"Rev. John McMurry, S.S., S.T.L., Ph.D., director of St. Mary's Spiritual Center, has conducted Intensive Journal workshops throughout the U.S. since 1978 and has taken part in 30 workshops led by Dr. Ira Progoff, creator of the Intensive Journal program. His articles on the Intensive Journal method have appeared in several publications.

LIFE CONTEXT WORKSHOP

Individual participants treat questions such as
"Where am I in the course of my life right now?"
"How did I get there?"
"What is my next step?"

in a non-analytic, experiential way by written exercises including a technique for
opening up relationships with specific contents of life.

DEPTH CONTACT WORKSHOP
(Click for schedule/fees)

Individual participants use a non-analytic way of allowing dreams and experiences
of connectedness to lead them into Journal exercises involving contents of their
outer life. Includes a method of meditation based on personal experiences.

LIFE INTEGRATION/JOURNAL FEEDBACK WORKSHOP
(Prerequisite: Life Context & Depth Contact Workshops)

Applying non-analytical techniques, participants move from one
Intensive Journal section to another approaching situations from different
perspectives and developing dreams and other imagery. In this process of inner
life-balancing, of nonanalytic self-integration, new integrative
syntheses are brought forth, as though by themselves. An experience in the ongoing
use of the Method in the unfolding life process.

Each workshop consists of a three-hour session each morning and afternoon
Saturday and Sunday in a neo-Gothic chapel almost 200 years old.
